The following rules list the most serious violations:
1. No Hacking - This should go without saying, but you are not permitted to hack the board. Guessing someone else's password and succeeding counts as hacking. Members who hack will instantly be permanently banned without any warnings.
2. No Discrimination, - You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political
beliefs, or whether they are gay or straight. The Bali expat forum is a place where everyone is
equal, and discrimination will not be tolerated.
3. No Bullying - Do not pick on other members. The worst kind of bullying is where new members are picked on. This hurts the member as well as the board.
4. No Flaming - Flaming harms the nice atmosphere of the Bali Expat Forum. It also causes thread's to go off topic, and most importantly, it hurts the person being flamed.
5. No Profanity or Obscene Content - Such content does not belong on the Bali expat forum. A censor system is in place as a backup. If you see words in your post being replaced with ****, you have done something wrong. Please edit your post and tone it down before your timer runs out. To edit a post, click the "Edit" button right below it.
The following rules are also important:
1. No Advertising - You are not allowed to join this forum to blatantly promote your business. Regular forum contributors however, are permitted to add a link in their signature to their personal or business website.
2. No Spamming - Spamming is not allowed, and is defined as a post that has no meaning and contains links to irrelevant websites.
3. No Posting of Personal Info - You cannot post any member's personal information on the forum, this can include their real name, email, address and telephone number. If you need to contact someone, use the private messaging system.
4. Do not post or write negative comments about the site on other forums on blogs - If you have a problem with something on this site, please get in contact with us.
5. Deleting posts - Just because you decide to leave the forum, does not give you the right to have your posts removed from the forum. Posts will only be removed if they break one of the above rules.
Although the administrators and moderators of Bali Expat Forum - Bali Travel Forum will attempt to keep all objectionable
messages off this site, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of
the author, and neither the owners of Bali Expat Forum - Bali Travel Forum, nor vBulletin Solutions, Inc. (developers of vBulletin)
will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar,
sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
