Well Kabim is the expert on Law stuff here on the forum, but I thought that religious things like Kebaya ( see-through blouse), statues of religious and cultural posture would be exempt from this Law? I hope Kabim will jump in with his knowledge about this....

Well, I believe that this law won't have much direct effect in Bali or anywhere in Indonesia where people not necessarily agree with it (SulUt, Maluku, Papua, NTT...etc). However we will suffer from indirect effects if it is applied in some parts of Indonesia. Say that some prick in Aceh, Jawa or anywhere where this law may have support, is not happy about the length of the dress that his female neighbour is wearing and lodge a formal complaint about it, invoquing the bloody law: What will the medias around the world (hopefully not in first page...)? people around the world have a poor idea of Indonesian geography and have no knowledge of what variety of culture we have in Indonesia. Any court sentence given anywhere in Indonesia concerning this law would affect the image of Indonesia abroad and its provinces, whateve they are. That is a collateral effect and Bali's tourism may suffer a bit of it. Apart from that, I doubt that any court in Bali has to ever deal with it.
