    Markit,

Regarding your last "comments," how long did it take you to compose this bull s**t...? Talking about diarrhoea of the mouth (pen) and constipation of the brain…

But playing your game, I must answer that your "reasoning" is, excuse the adjective, stupid: the difference in hardness of the 2 woods is negligeable in practice, and would not affect the uncalibrated blow of the carpenter's hammer.
    Keep on smiling.

Tin you've obviously never been a carpenter and possibly never had diarrhoea.

Only meant as a light hearted reply but since it may be the wrong time of your monthly cycle lets leave it?

Although I feel I am a good judge of characters, I thought for a moment I had misjudged you from the very beginning of your posting on this website. I am glad to say I had not: it was my mistake to have misinterpreted your answer to my first remark on this present topic. I will add that my too "scientific and formal" answer to your "hard wood" query had actually been made also as a joke. Maybe it was an unfortunate misstep on my part, given the seriousness of the topic, but it had nothing to do with this "time of the month."

As for my carpenter talent (please, excuse these few additional comments), I happened to have spent most of my last afternoon in dismantling and refurbishing, and very successfully I must add, a very beautiful (and expensive) rose wood dinning room chair,. Tomorrow, I intend to glue it back together with…Gorilla Glue…the ONLY glue, the best in the world! :)
    Keep on smiling.

No offence taken or meant! I have, to my sorrow, learned that "humor" travels very poorly on the internet and particularly between foreigners, as we all are here.

I will nevertheless persist with my efforts mainly because I find them funny myself  If nobody else does, well I consider that to be their loss - in the nicest possible way, of course.

For instance: I found your description of "Gorilla glue" interesting and promptly had to google it as I had this vision of industrial containers full of boiling gorillas to make glue from. That's just the way the brain works.
