Hi took some time off the building to go to Singaraja for some pool supplies last week and along the way took a few pics of the "Big Boys" the 3 volcanoes and generally enjoyed a change from the tropics to the arid north.
Also anybody that hasn't seen enough of the progress of my house build can catch up here too, and the next rice harvest is about upon us too. At least this side of the mountains it is - cactus seem on the order of the day for the "northerners".

any update on your house? Are you planning to cut the trees away?
Your building looks amazing, and thanks for the access to the photos. I have just read your blog; and had a great laugh, which I needed today. Your right, there are some total interfering tossers wanting to give their opinion on the opening of the proverbial envelope. Have noted your list of suppliers too. Many thanks, I am renovating my 3rd house, but having some new contacts is extremely helpful.

Yeah, of course - build a house in Bali and then chop down all those ugly coconut trees - I knew there was something I hated about that plot of land... many thanks
A sense of humor is the most important of the 8 senses, oh and not to forget that sense of timing too. Have you done the renovating in Bali? I would be interested in hearing more about that too...?
