Just finish my 3days snorkeling trip of North Bali and get back to sweet home :)
It's the first time to watch dolphin in Lovina, that's something unexpected...Boatman bring tourists on the sea before sunrise, I saw 15boats at least, when the boatman see dolphin jumped, then the boat was moving so fast colse to dolphin, as fast as they could...it seems like that high speed boat race instead of dolphin watch, Very funny!

nice pics, thanks for sharing :) ...and glad you liked the experience, although it sounds like you didn't get close to the dolphins?
don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)
Thanks for sharing. When I first came here I did the dolphin tour. I enjoyed just watching the sunrise over the island more than chasing the dolphins. You can sometimes see dolphins swimming from the beach outside of central Lovina.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat drinking beer all day.
Somehow, in a funny way Im only interested in boats race than dolphin, Really funny!!!
Btw, Singaraja feel like mini Denpasar, how can u living there...

I'd rather go to aquarium see dolphin performance than Lovina's. Anyway, the view of sunrise is amazing than south Bali.Originally Posted by spicyayam

Nice little town. Not the hustle an bustle of DP and much nicer IMO. As for Dolphins there is an Aquarium with its own Dolphins in Lovina. You can even get in the pool with them although they seem to get a bit frisky around women. :D

You'd rather see dolphins in captivity than in their natural habitat?Originally Posted by noodles

I don't understand why you would support this practice.
I agree with chickchili...they (dolphins) should be admired in their own habitat...
This being said, the dolphins Jimbo is referring to are in the back of Hotel Melka, and to his (kalle's) defence these animals where all rescued from illegal fishing/caught in nets and such.
They also do some great work (not getting money for it) with handicap children....
