    Default Bali in the past

At another forum I saw a link to a documentary of Bali in 1946. Thought the images were fascinating. Am not sure if the link is allowed, but here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB4kmZOYG-w

After looking around a bit I found another site that shows old travel films of all around the world. For any one who is interested, here’s the link http://www.travelfilmarchive.com/results.php

Fantastic old vision :) Thanks Pa_Yan. There was also stuff from 1932, Ubud funeral etc. Wonderful!

Great old vision if only we could go back in time. While only 60 years ago what a strange mysterious place Bali must have seemed to westerners then.

This is the cremation ceremony Goldminer was referring to (with sound).

My parents used to talk about the good old days and now has I have gotten older I have a tendenct to say the same. Not sure if they were good or not but perhaps there was not the worry and stress that one gets as an adult.

I also think that if I had been born in those good old days I would be dead by now so perhaps each day you are alive should be a good day :D
    Regards Jimbo
