    Default Italian Author

With Milan and Chilli here now I was wondering if either of you have heard of the Italian crime writer Giancarlo Narciso or read any of his books? He has spent a lot of time in Kuta, Lombok over the last 20 years or so and even set one of his books here using a few of the local characters in it too. I would love to read it if they ever translate it to english.

    Hi Mimpimanis,

No, he's not so known here in Italy. But I think he lives/has lived in many countries such as Japan, Mexico too. And he is from Milan and has a residence in Lake Como.
I don't think they have English editions. That's the problem with many of the Italian books in that they're not published in English.

Yes that is him, he is from Milan and spends half the year on Lake Como, the other half used to be in Kuta Lombok - for the first 8/9 years I was here. However we havent seen much of him lately.

Here's his book titled: "Fury in Lombok" but not in English and he's using pseudonym by the name of Jack Morisco.

Perhaps he's travelling around the world that's why you don't see him around any longer.
Does he speak English, do you know?

    Ciao.

Yes Milan he speaks very good english - maybe he will write a book in english sometime.
Meanwhile I will wait and hope that Furia A Lombok gets translated.
