Costs upgrading PLN Power connection from 2.200w to 16.000w

Hi Everybody,

At the property there is now a 2.200w connection.
I want to upgrade the connection to 16.000w for commercial use.
I have been reading some posts about the costs, but did'nt find my answer there.

So does anybody know the costs to upgrade to 16.000w?
I know my elcetrician should be some preperation, so does somebody know the pln costs?

It will cost you a fortune if indeed you can get it upgraded so much at all which I doubt. There is insufficient electricity on the island for what is there now. Stilll some thousands of dollars might get you what you want.

Having just about fought the good fight with PLN to get some power to my land I would also say "pick a number".

First of all they will make you go to 3 phase which will mean you buying a transformer for your pole (not as much fun as it sounds).

But do let us know what it turns out to be - it will only be a matter of "0"s

I have heard of many ways of getting electricity connected in Bali including using or a contractor or handing over an envelope to the head of your PLN office.

I would just take a local who is a good negotiater and has some authority in the area to your PLN office and see what they can do.
