Guess you could use a 30day tourist visa if your a jetsetter!
If operating an export business without a showroom either in Bali or elsewhere, it could be argued that the business is not in Bali and therefore a business visa is not required. However, there may be benefits to having the business visa or the kitas. Looking for feedback on the type of visa to acquire.
What's your opinion

Gongchime the government has the power to deem that you are working if it believes that you are working. You can't even do charity work on a tourist visa.
BTW the maximum tourist visa is 60 days.
If you are only buying stuff in Bali for export, that does not qualify as work in Indonesia, therefore you do not need a work permit.
However, to conduct any business, to negotiate, even to visit factories for commercial purposes you need a business visa.
The choices are broad - if, for example, you come often for shorter visits, you can opt for a multiple entry business visa (valid 1 year, each entry 60 days stay).
I'm thinking Roy might have been a good one to give you some tips here - perhaps see if you can buy him a drink at Nuri's? (You are still living in Celuk I assume). Google Ubudian to find Roy.
