Default Which visa agent do you use?

Enough read about visa & visa extension...

I have been on Bali for a month now (wow...time flies...) and I have to think about extending my visa...

The lazy side of MiSo likes to know:
Which visa agent do you use?
    Why?
    What's the address?
    What are the costs?
How long does it (the procedure) take?

    Mmm...that's about it...
    Thank you so much!

    Blissfully yours,
    Mmmiso...

From all I can learn about it all the agents seem to be about the same - they do it as a business and know that if the FU you will be gone. I used Bali IDE when I first got here with the Social visa and at that time they were charging 500k per extension, now the price has risen surprise surprise to around 700-750. They all charge that now be it Singaraja or Sanur. Bali IDE is good but make sure you ask them why they don't advertise here on the forum any more lol (You're welcome Spicy :D)

BALI IDE used to be sponsors of the forum and many people here on the forum seem to be happy with their service. The first company I used to do my extensions was CV Bayu Santero, who have an office in Jl Legian. I found them to be reliable and never had a problem with them.

You can do it yourself, but it seems like a lot of work. Immigration actually makes the process easier for agents. Anyone can become an agent, it's not like they have a immigration law test that people have to pass like some countries. So, it is kind of hard to say if one agent is better than another, as they all offer the same services at roughly the same price. I would probably just use someone who was close to where I am staying as long as they seemed reliable enough and not too expensive.

I will definately never use or recommend Bali IDE again. I heard the owner is not paying attention to the business anymore and it shows. I am waiting now for almost 5 months for my KITAS renewal. Last week I started to give pressure and they lied that my fees hadn''t been paid. Of course they were paid in September and I had proof. Today they tell me that immigration needs translation of a document that comes in Dutch/German and English straight from the government! It has also served during several previous extensions.

My friend was told recently by an immigration officer that the relationship between Bali IDE and immigration was no good any longer, so it was better not to use them. I think I am experiencing that right now, because all previous years went fine with them.

This is bad news since I have used IDE for the past 3 yrs without any problems whatsoever.
I still have 5 more months left on my visa, still plenty of time but……….

Does anyone know of a “substitute” reliable company???

Or better which one do you use??

Anyway maybe they will go back to what they use be b4, like I said very reliable and fast service.

Meaning that you're in this country now for 4 months without any kind of Visa (KITAS)? since applying for a renewal/extension and getting it, takes about a month.

I did contact Bali Ide last year about extending my KITAS but have to admit the email I received did not inspire confidence and they were more expensive than my usual agent so I stuck with him.

I have been using Bali IDE since the beginning (5 years ago) and as said never had comments about them. I have become furious now and the owner doesn't answer any calls on her mobile. My friend who doesn't use Bali IDE was told these things about them by an officer when he came to sign his renewal. He has been her for more than 15 years and no reason to bash Bali IDE. This was a "coincidence talk" and the officer didn't recommend him anyone else.

@spitfire, just for your info..Ibu luisana is currently out of the country, maybe that's why she doesn't answer her phone.
I don't want to tell how I know or why I know, (and would apreciate if another member also wouldnt tell) but trust me the relation between Imigrasi and Bali Ide couldn't be any stronger...unless if there would be a father-son or mother-daughter relation between the two.
Why don't you call the office or swing by there and ask for details about your case?

I too have been using the services of Bali Ide, and just recently extended my KITAS, from application to pick up took a little under 1 month.

@mimpimanis....yeah same happened with JC, he also contacted them by email and got a strange email in reply, asking if he was a client of Bali Ide, but no direct answers to his questions...probably that happened to you too? And the english is not that good,

We'll see. I'm an unhappy customer. I will leave it to my staff again, as I had my share of knocking my head against the wall with her office staff for today. I have never had to get involved in it myself before, and I do not accept them accusing my staff for not paying as an excuse for delaying 4,5 months, then come up with document translations today, while we were told I could pick up the Kitas next Wednesday....Too many lame excuses.

I'm just sharing facts and experiences just as you do.
