Re travel and visa
Somehow I am not clear re visas, can someone please clarify. I'm coming to Bali in May for 2 months. Is it easier to apply for a one month visa in Australia, I was advised by the consulate in Sydney that I can extend my stay for another 30 days directly at the airport, without having to visit immigration in Bali. However in reading these forums it seems I have to visit immigration in Bali if i wish for an extension. Or is it possible to get the 60 day visa directly at the airport, which would probably be cheaper.
looking forward to some clarification

The 30 day tourist extension has just been brought in this year. If you are planning on staying 2 months, it's probably easier to apply for the 60 day visa in advance from your Indonesian embassy or consulate. That way you don't have to interupt your holiday by having to visit immigration. At least that's what it seems like after reading posts on this topic in the Bali visa section.
