    Yep, seriously. There are some of us out there that realise that the best meat and seafood has to be prepared by ones self, if you know what I mean ;)

    A big price tag does not mean high quality and I certainly wouldn't be prepared to be 'scalped' by a dealer in preference to self supplied meat I know will be sensational and free.

    I only ever got checked once (despite always declaring it on my customs card) and after a quick examination and explaination (which I gave in Bahasa Indonesian, which may have helped) I was out the door. Worst case scenario they confiscate it I figure.

    Thanks for the heads up, but I'd find it a bit funny if they prohibited imports from Oz. Were scared of our own shadows here when it comes to quarantine and the possibility of Australia contributing a pest or disease to Indo is quite laughable, it must be a money thing.

    I once considered taking a load of kangaroo over as my family in Java were driving me nuts to try it. Would be interesting if it was possible to get away with that???
