I am considering living in Bali for six months each year - to avoid winter in Perth. Ultimately I would like to buy a villa, but will take my time to ensure I really want to move. Currently staying in Ungasan in a friend's villa until the end of September and would love to make contact (meet up) with other WA expats to find out how life really is in Bali - from the coalface.

I love the climate, the lifestyle and the people, but have only visited twice before and holidaying is so vastly different from living in a new place. Unsure where I would like to settle so any ideas on accommodation etc would be good. I will be on a limited budget but will be looking for comfort and convenience as I cannot see myself driving at this stage.
