Glycerin Liquid

Hi there,
Just been having a heck of a time trying to find Glycerin in liquid form in Bali. Basically I'm a photographer with a penchant for taking shots of water droplets. With added Glycerin with water it changes the viscosity of the water whilst retaining a clear liquid. There are other ways of achieving this, baking powder, sugar etc but all of these ways add texture and cloudiness to the water.

I know there are people that make soaps and cakes here in Bali with Glycerin as a main ingredient, just wondering where the heck I can buy this. I live in the south.

CanonMan, I haven't tried to find glycerin here but in Australia I would find it at the pharmacy. Have you tried asking at the apotek?

Thanks for the kind words Pollyanna, the name came to me in a flash. Have also been hard at work woth some new timing devices, the results are nothing short of darn cool.

Hi guys n gals,
Just in case you would be looking for this same item. The office mentioned above has since closed its doors. I eventually located a 1L bottle available through Kimia Farmacia on JL Diponegro in Denpassar, close to the MataHari store, cost was Rp45,000.
