Depends.
Are you writing to publish in Indonesia?
If you are a writer staying here unemployed, by an Indonesian Company, and you publish elsewhere, I don't think you would have to pay tax.
I am a writer, thinking about moving to Bali. I have had contact to a couple of lawyers, but all they can inform me of is that I would have to pay taxes according to Indonesian law. However I can not seem to get an answer to what that means.
How does the taxsystem in Bali work? :?:

No, I am not writing to publish in Indosesia. I am publishing in Denmark. I am not connected to any Indonesian company.
Smile, send in your stuff via Internet, and take a sosial budaya. And don't tell anyone. :)
I at the other hand DO have to pay tax. 1200 USD that came with my working permit (Indonesian Company), and the company pays tax, and there will be additional personal income tax I heard....
