great pans Bert! I love to see that everyone stares at you instead the Joged-dancer. I bet your equiptment and "odd technique" makes them wonder what you're up to.

Ps. Just ordered a suitable pan-head. Got the new Nodal Ninja! (love the name of that! ).

Good choice with the 5D i guess. It is abit heavy though, but maby you have a really sturdy pan-mount? It's about twice as heavy as the 350D i think. Did you order it through Fuji Professional in Denpasar or somewhere else? Pricy or ok? I'm not yet sure which model i'll go for. I've been looking at the 350D since it's lightweight. The 5D is a step up in both quality .. and price, but i feel it would "last longer" than the 350D. An "outsider" i like is the EOS-1D Mark II N which is excellent for fast sequences-photography (like surfing) with 8.5frames/sec, but it's only 8.2megapix... Anyway, i'll be making some shopowners happy when i return to Bali with a sack of cash to spend on expensive equiptment. Just hope the prices are about the same as in Hongkong or the US.

The 5D is B-I-G, compared to my 350D...

    No, I order from Jakarta....

I have a very sturdy pan-mount, at least for the 350D, not yet for the 5D...
