I'm looking for a cobra expert who could help us get rid of those creeps in our garden.
Got one in our kitchen last night.... I recall a posting sometime ago about a cobra connaisseur in Sanur but can't find it anymore.
Any tips will be highly appreciated.

Kill them yourself and keep your eyes open.
A cobra connoisseur? He/she can’t stop them coming back.
3 months ago I got one in the front garden, nearly touched it, and within 2 minutes was dead.
Last week I discovered one in the guest room, on the floor, on a pile of necklaces. This one took me a bit longer to get, tried to hide everywhere, never the less he was sent to a permanent sleep.
Both about 60 cm
Or better still DON'T kill the Cobra and do exactly like what you sought out to do in the first instance and search (perhaps vainly, unfortunately) for a snake wrangler who will release the NATIVE (are you reading this Lumumba) animal back into the wild where it can go on with its PERFECTLY NATURAL existence. Yang Peduli, the best suggestion I have is try calling the Reptile Park.
Sorry Lumumba but your attitude towards animals gets my panties in a bunch. Exporting gecko's, butchering snakes - Bali needs all the help it can get with regards to its wildlife - it's not yours to decide the fate of. If you don't like wildlife, what the hell are you doing on a tropical island?????
(P.S. Before you suggest the 'difficulties' of living with creepy crawlies bear in mind I live in Australia, ground zero for sh*t that stings, bites and eats people. It aint that difficult.)
Well Well and Well Adam, what a mouth full of staff, my compliments.
(Are you reading this Lumumba?)
Yes I’m reading, read it 3 times, and to tell you truth I don’t have the vaguest idea why I’ll reply, ONLY ONCE, to you.

Animals (not belonging to me) will have to stay outside my house especially the venomous snake.
Exporting gecko's:
I don’t export anything they came to collect them (and only happen twice). No trade. (No export)
Butchering snakes: don’t make me laugh.

No suggestion at all![]()
I reckon cobra are attracted to the smell of chicken meat. Maybe you have a lot of bait of chicken in your place that's why they all coming back.
If I was to get a household of rats, cockroaches, spiders , creepy crawlies in general and especially if poisoness or snakes I would call in the exterminator. My line and those of my family are far more important than the animals.

So where is the best place to go if you're bitten by a snake in Bali?
Sanglah at the international wing
Thank you!
Two guys from Madura 'cleaned' our garden. Caught four and killed one.... They claim the problem is an empty (4 years now) villa falling appart opposite our place. They suspect the place is full of cobra. Neighbours filed complaints at Pak Lian's who claims he doesnt know the whereabouts of the owner....
