which bank to use in Bali

Hi,
As we are coming closer to our depature date I need some advice. I think it is always better to get some different oppinions.
Is it better to open an account at a bank in Bali? Which one? Are they secure?
Or is it better to leave your money overseas?

I don't know the best answer, but I'd guess it is best to open one in Bali.... If a problem does occur, your already there! Plus generally you get charged to use a bank account from outside of Bali.
I believe the interest rate in Bali is also much better than the West...
Just a few idea's!?

I've been using BCA, (Bank Central Asia) for years and I like them a lot. No problems with wire transfers, and on-line banking is also available. I also have my VISA card with them as well as a checking account.

Not being one to ever put all my eggs in one basket, I also have accounts with Lippo.

i don't have an bankaccount here.. yet, but if i'll get one it will most likely be with BCA. I always use their ATMs for withdrawals.
