Very nice Spicy :D Maybee you can get paid 4 the real estate ads?
The Bali advertising website was a site I took over along with this site from Bert. Last night it was hacked. I could have restored it but the software was already very out of date and there is no longer a free version available.
I decided to install some new software and give it a new look. The site gets pretty good traffic but makes little from advertising :( The old software was also quite time consuming having to delete the many ads that were basically spam.
I want to keep the site going though but I am still thinking of introducing some classified sections on this site. I think the problem with running a separate site is that you don't know who you are really dealing with. At least if you deal with a regular contributor on this forum you will know something about that person. Someone with one post to their name for example isn't going to be too trustworthy.
I would appreciate any thoughts on this approach. The previous owner was pretty strict about people promoting their business on the forum, which I can fully understand, but if they are a regular contributor to the forum I have no problem with it.

Very good, lots of colour and i like the photos.
Go for it, that's my opinion.
I have used it in past but only ever got responses much too late. How about having an auto archive or delete of old ads after a month or something?
Just had a look and definitely prefer the new format :D

Constructive criticism:
Whenever I see the first three letters a...d....v... I'm gone! So you might want to rethink that title?
The format itself is sooooo "I've landed at the wrong adress" and doesn't jump out saying BALI, bali, ba....li....
Who is your customer base? The lost, needy or interested? All 3? If you want a Craigslist for Bali then get a craigslist.
Don't mean to be snappy, sorry just not enough time.
Jeeez.... well make ur own mind up mwwwwwwah!

I like it
would it be possible to make the "recent ads" button more prominent? Categories are fine, but just for "browsing" I like using "recent ads" - that way I always see the latest ads, regardless of category.
Good reason not to go online when I have been drinking :roll:Jeeez.... well make ur own mind up mwwwwwwah!

It was Bert's site originally so you can blame him for the title. :) Did you see the last design?Whenever I see the first three letters a...d....v... I'm gone! So you might want to rethink that title?

I just checked Craigslist and there is no location for Bali, only Jakarta.
